Here you’ll find everything you need about Village Park Animal Hospital and how we can help you. We have online forms for everything related to our La Quinta veterinarian clinic, and information, including a virtual office tour and what to expect in your visit.
Patient Arrival:
For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash. We do have leashes and carriers available for you on request.
Appointments:
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable.
Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
Medical Drop-Off Appointments:
For your convenience, ‘drop-off’ appointments are available. A ‘drop off’ means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to ‘drop off’ sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions. Because there is a limit to the number of patients that the Dr. can physically see “between” appointments we may ask that your pet stay longer. A small fee may need to be added to allow us the additional time needed to care for your pet while here. (We will walk, provide clean bedding and water.)
Examinations and Vaccines:
Village Park takes the health of your pet as our top priority. We encourage vaccines on a regular schedule, and require a recent examination with a doctor to provide those vaccines.
We recommend an annual exam and vaccines for pets up to 7 years. We also recommend bi-annual exams after 7 years of age to be sure we keep our senior pets healthy
Chronic Medications:
Pets on long term medications require extra care. We require exams and blood work on an annual or bi-annual schedule, depending on your pet’s age, condition, and doctor’s recommendation
Payment Policy:
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Cash and Personal checks.
We also offer CareCredit – a credit card for veterinary bills. We can run your application in the office and let you know of approval.
Privacy Policy:
We do not collect or give out any information to any third party vendors or internet businesses. No information will ever be disclosed to outside parties from us or our web site hosting company.
It’s that simple! And we strictly adhere to this policy.
