Vanessa grew up in San Bernardino County for most of her life then moved to Los Angeles in her 20s were she resided for 7 years. She is an oil painter and got her Masters Degree in Art from Cal State San Bernardino. During her time in school, she was a professional tattoo artist for 6 years but found a different kind of fulfillment working with animals. She has worked in the animal care field since 2011. Since then she has developed a fondness for animal portraiture as a hobby but her passion lies in Abstract Expressionism. She moved from Los Angeles to the La Quinta Cove in 2014 when she joined the Village Park team. She is currently our Inventory and Pharmacy Manager and also manages the Paws & Reflect boutique. She likes to take her breaks visiting the boarding pets and enjoys joining in on the many impromptu serenading of the pets in for routine procedures. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, thrift store shopping, gardening, interior design and camping/hiking with her boyfriend Jed and their 4 dogs (Sebastian, Amelie, Juliette and Jeauc).
