To all the wonderful staff at Village Park Animal Hospital, thank you so much for caring for Rosie and Slick and for choosing Rosie as the “Pet of the Month” for March. Doctor Jeffrey was so kind to Rosie and made the transition to doggie heaven a painless one for her. I will never forget the lick on my face she gave me just before she fell asleep as if to say, “it’s alright dad, I love you.” Rosie was an unusual dog with high intelligence and gentleness. She was my constant loyal companion for almost 15 years and I will miss her greatly. The best dog in the world….my Rosie.
The German Shepherd, Rosie, is 15 years old this April. After two difficult surgeries by Dr. Jeffrey and maintenance by Dr. Wallace, unfortunately, her cancer came back and the prognosis is not good at this time. We all have done everything we could for my dear Rosie.
This picture was taken two years ago with Slick (Havanese), her eternal sidekick is nearing 10 years old.
